Renovations…and A Little Bit More.

The chapter house at Tennessee Kappa saw a few renovations before the Fall 2009 semester. The downstairs bedrooms were dry walled, painted, and both ceilings were pop corned. The ceilings in the chapter room and the back room were also dry-walled and pop corned. New ceiling trim was put into the back room and the chapter room, and new baseboards were put into the front bedroom. New double-pane windows were also installed in the front bedroom. The baseboards in the back room were re-primed and freshly painted along with the window frames, and a new door and frame were installed.

Brother Tony Beal kindly provided materials for the remodeling of the downstairs bathroom and spent countless hours working to ensure the project‘s success. First drywall and green board was put in the bathroom and painted a light blue. New tile was then put down and a pedastal sink and new mirror was installed. The bathroom cabinets were repainted and new sconce lights were put in to add a finishing touch. Tennessee Kappa sends out a special thank you to Michael Johnson’s older brother A.J. (experienced in home-building) for doing such a fine job, as well as Richard Clark, owner of Clark Custom Builders Inc. who donated his time (for free) to finishing out the remainder of the work after AJ left. We invite alumni and friends to stop by and see the progress being made here at TN Kappa!
